Third brake light connectors

Hi !

Does anybody know where i can find the third brake light connectors (for both light and car side) ?

The small blade connectors (both male and female), are standard pieces available at the local electronics shop. Was able to leave the factory wiring untouched and add the appropriate connectors to the wiring of my CDC Design Concepts 3rd Brake Light replacement.

Sumitomo/Yazaki 090 II Series, Unsealed, Two pin

I believe the one on the car is keyed. You'll have to find one that has matching key orientation or grind the keying notch off

Thanks a lot guys ! :)

I will try to source these !

So I bought these https://www.corsa-technic.com/catego...ategory_id=172 and these https://www.corsa-technic.com/catego...ategory_id=207 in 2 ways.

They don't fit at all even though the shape looks similar (not a key history, they are really not compatible)

Did I miss something ? As shipping costs are too much I'll cut the wires and solder :(

Have a nice day !

They should look like this one

Here's an image from the light on my car. Notice that the keying is on the left (rather than on the right for the linked product). However, you can just grind the keying off of the one you buy, or buy a new male and female pair for the car.

I don't think all is lost. If you bought male and female of the new connectors, and you have new terminals, just replace both sides on the car.

Thanks for the link !

Will see if I order some but this definitely help others :)

And yes you're right I could swap the car connectors with new ones but unfortunately I did not buy 4 connectors of each types of the links above but 2 and they are not compatible between them (not the same size).

I'm astonished that I can't find them directly in my country ...

Thanks again
