Best setup for fuel starveation and oil baffled pan

I am looking to complete in the full season of the 2020 season 86cup. The last 3 mods I need to complete my build is upgraded fuel pump/flapper mod and a baffled oil pan along with track spec hood vents.

For the first 2 what are the best mods to address this.

I'd vote:

1) Fuel

2) Oil

3) Vents

Ops let me re phrase. I am doing fuel and oil first. Looking for what pump/mods to limit fuel starvation as I will be running some level of e85 and the 72.5mm pulley so about 10.5 psi and 250-260whp in ideal condistion. Also who makes the best oil baffel insert for the stock oil pan. Already have JRDC.

I'd recommend the Killer B oil pick up tube and the Greddy oil pan baffle.

As for the hood vents, I think the ones from Verus Engineering are best.

Use 5W40 or 5W50. My oil pressure has been good using the v2 Moroso baffle. It's a double tier baffle, which I like, compared to some of the single tier versions. The lower tier keeps oil around the pickup.

I've had good luck using the fuel door mod for the OE gas cannister. I'm on E85 also, and my tracks allow me to run to almost E without fuel starve. Is track dependent though, and I typically still give myself some margin of safety for races.

The fuel flapper helps but it won't fix fuel starve if you run on a track with long left handers. At my local track, I get fuel starve below half a tank even with the flapper valve. I'm glad I got one but I still have to fill up after 2 sessions.

yeah, I'm lucky, I don't have any long-duration left hand sweepers at that tracks I go to.

1. DW300C

2. Bluemoon Performance baffle plate

Upgrading the pump alone can solve fuel starve? Do you still need to maintain a certain fuel level?

What are you logging or looking for to detect this?

Nope, it does nothing for a slosh based starve, but dhe does need the pump for ethanol + fi where he will fuel starve from lack of flow.

Fuel starve is noticeable, at full throttle the revs drop and power is completely cut. Here's video of it happening, notice the throttle is full and rpm drop:

Does the Bluemoon use the stock pickup tube?

Is there a lifespan to the little (rubber?) flapper door? And if so are there replacements available to service it?

Also curious if you're familiar with the Cosworth baffle and how this one compares.

Yes, stock pickup. This doesn't need changing.

The Bluemoon flappers are, ironically, Cosworth flaps! Quality stuff.
