Door courtesy light cover Toyota (red)

Hi guys! I really like the red door light cover that I saw on the 2020 Toyota 86.

Two questions;

1) will that fit to my 2019 BRZ
2) does anyone know the part number to order from Toyota

Thanks

I also have it but it’s white!
IMO red looks way better.

Yours are white because they are actual, functional puddle lights. The red ones are just reflectors.

OP, you do know the red ones are a downgrade in functionality, right?

Haha! Yep, I did not know that they are not functional. That’s really bad! I should understand that when I opened the door of the green 2020 86 yesterday :)

Is it just a plain reflector or is it possible to change the white cover whit the red one. Thanks

Nope, my car has red lights, they're not reflectors. In the UK the only rear facing white light allowed on a vehicle is the reversing light. The other lights are red or amber (direction indicators).

Okay fine. So you have shitty puddle lights due to local regs :P

But they get laser headlights. So who's the real loser here?!?!

Yes it is a direct swap.

I bought used door cards for cheap from a 2015 FRS so I could get the oem padded knee pads. The door cards came with the red reflectors, but it honestly made the door look so much cheaper than the clear reflectors, so I swapped back.

This is just my opinion of course.

EU cars have them as stock, as by law no light facing backwards can be white.

2018 BRZ's sold in Turkey have them in red color. They are not just reflectors. I think that light's purpose is not to lit ground but to be seen by the other drivers; so the proper color should be red.

And it looks good :)

We are super H&S conscious, fuck the puddles, just need to warn any cars, bikes or pedestrians from driving/walking into opened doors... The red lights are bright.. so attracts all sorts when parked in "nice" neighborhoods..
