Aftermarket endlinks naked joint?

I just received my RacerX sway bar endlinks in the mail, which are gorgeous, by the way.
Really impressed with RacerX's packaging and presentation, as well as the actual craftsmanship.

One thing I am a bit uncomfortable with is how naked the rod end joint is. I feel like it should have a boot for protection and longevity?

Is it not necessary on this type of joint due to the clearances/construction? Or are these joints simply not intended for daily driving on the street and have a much shorter life as a result?

Not intended for DD, but you can still make them work.

Looks like they come apart pretty easy though for bearing replacement, is there a warranty on this product?

Racecar parts = racecar maintenance, there's a reason OE aren't adjustable and are sealed up gummy long life bearings instead of the slippery free moving kind.

You could probably fashion a makeshift boot/cover to help survive the winter months if that's your thing. Mild climates they should be fine for two or three years of decent mileage.

There are rubber covers made for ball joints.
Another thing to consider is whether these are PTFE lined. That sounds nice in the sales hype, but the PTFE both wears away and will cold flow unless it is impregnated into fabric. That design doesn't look like the ball is replaceable - very few are. The longest lasting design will have a solid metal joint with a grease fitting that feeds a channel to the ball surface and an external rubber boot.
