Christmas tree of lights on my dash
Haven't driven the car in a month and came back to this problem. All the lights on my dashboard are on. CEL, TRAC OFF, VSC, ABS, Steering Wheel, and BRAKE are all on. Car starts up and drives but is in limp mode. Anyone else encounter this or know what this is?

Probably the battery.
|
also, read dtc and see what it says
|
Scan for codes, if you don't know or cant figure out the fix, let a pro have a looky-loo.
|
sell it. buy a civic.

We should just follow Mr.ac around and troll his serious advice. I'm on board.

And only reason why I don't recommend a new Civic is cause I filled my quota. So....:iono: But feel free to do so. Some one needs to tickle my pickle. |

I'm dealing with the same issue. Pulled codes and had a mile long list that I cant remember off of the top of my head.
Lights turn on around the same driving distance/time, won't rev over 4k, no speedometer, no electric steering assist. Its driving me nuts I've already checked all VSS, grounds, wires. |
There are other causes for loss of EPS but it relies entirely on the alternator for power. If you want any real help, post all of your codes here AFTER you look them up here. That way we can all be on the same page.

Ok. I'll post codes when I get back in town to have them checked. Thanks

Ok so I finally took the car to get the codes scanned and came up with UO122 which is a loss of communication to the VDC. So after that I double checked all fuses and made sure there were no loose connections. After reading through some more forums somebody suggested if anything was connected to the OB2 port and to disconnect it. So I have a steering wheel with the speed and revs display and that connects to the obd port. So after disconnecting and resetting the battery and grounding out the car I reconnected the battery. No lights and all is back to normal! Hope this helps anyone else if they come across the Christmas tree lights lol
