Ecutek stock map and maf question
Can ecutek calculate boost without a gauge? Trying to determine if I have just a vacuum leak or also a boost leak at the actuator on the sprintex 210 which would be causing both a vacuum and boost leak.

Just curious, does your car make a hissing sound or sound of air releasing when you turn your car off?

I use a mechanical boost gauge with a vent pod and just cut the end of the rubber “nipple” sticking out of the firewall behind brake booster so didn’t need to drill anything and it creates a perfect seal, hose runs out and up to vent perfectly and since its mechanical don’t have to deal with wires unless you want a back light. But if you don’t know what your boost was it’ll be hard to tell unless it’s drastic. |
Log monifold pressure
Ignition on , engine stopped should read 1 bar ie amospheric pressure At idle should be about 0.3-0.4 bar if it closer to 1 bar you likely have intake side leak As above the stock map sensor only reads to about 6psi above atmospheric so max manifold pressure you will see is about 1.4 bar ie 0.4 bar boost. |

Leak could srill be present but it would be small |
Would it be enough to cause LTFTs to Max out pretty quickly at idle? @steve99

If the ltft go high positive at idle but ok at say 3000 it can be exhaust leak |

There are lots of offsets to maf andcfuelng during cold start so this can effect fuel trims, if its normal after car warmed up dont worry |

Poswible ifs o2 sensor but if it was you would think fuel trims would be bad all the time |
