Steam/smoke out of the two exhaust tips is not same
Hi,
With start of the cold season I realized that the steam/smoke that comes out of the exhaust when you start your car is not same. The steam is coming stronger from the left exhaust. Is this something related to the design of the OEM exhaust? Another quick question is about the air filter in the engine bay. I recently changed the filter with the same OEM one. Since it can be installed one way it was straight forward. I made sure that the clips at the back are fine etc. When I checked carefully, despite the back of the box is closed with the clips very nicely I still can see a little of my filter. It’s not something that is coming out. I did not pay attention whether the default was also visible. Just wanted to ask if this is the way it fits. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Everything is good, Beeman

There's a single pipe to the rear box then splits coming out.
The total length is slightly different and one will heat up quicker. Silly to have twin tips out of a single exhaust other than to look cool or something. |
Gas unfortunately is like water; once you add a split in the path, it will prefer one path over the other and not divide throughput evenly.
Basically, this is normal. Single exit is the cure |
Mine is bone stock, sub 20k. Does same thing. Agree with others. No worries.

Stupid dual exit design is stupid.
