Anyone Else Appreciate This Site More Now?

I din't realize how much evry day I refer to this site for resources, or just as a way to spend time and maybe get to help others looking for information. When I tried that page yesterday and it loaded after feeling like it was down for months, I was actually very excited; I wouldn't have expected that response of myself until it happened.

Whether or not this means I have "no life" or spend too much time here isn't up for debate; I love this site and the "friends" I have here regardless of what hat means. I am always happy when I'm here and this has become my resource for most everything related to my car that I couldn't answer from memory.

Anyone else feel like they've found a lost dog now that the site is up again?

This site goes down pretty regularly. I'm used to it.

It goes down once in a while, but I haven't seen it down for multiple days before

This site goes "down" every day at 2:00am and 9:00am (EST) for I presume server reasons. Other than that I only recall about 4 other outages. This one and the last one were the longest. The other two were only a couple of hours.
All in all probably better than average for any forum I have ever been part of.

You wantta' try being temp banned so you can see what is going on but can't respond or participate.

I spend so much time on this site. Mostly because I have a lot of customers that can't answer a yes/no question without giving me an irrelevant 15min story not related to the problem. They have no idea how much time I spend reading and buying stuff online during that time.

I was so bored I had to actually do work because FT86club was down. I still think we should sell FT86club stickers to help support the site and maintain it being available. @ichitaka05

I also feel like we need some type of fundraiser.

Stickers are coming back this winter (Dec~Jan)... atm I'm looking into new design. Unless you guys want me to keep the same designs.

You did once years ago. For about 1 minute, at 2:00am, as a joke but still...

That ichi dude locked me up for 24 hours of hard time once though.

People could support the paying vendor sponsors instead of EBay.
Not sure that funds were the issue anyway.
Has been my experience that once fundraising or advertising get to heavy the forum get's so hard to navigate people stop coming and it has a slow painful death.
Anybody that start forums to make money are gonna have a hard time.
