2019 BRZ - Both VSC + TRC buttons don't work

Hey guys I've got a 2019 BRZ (8400) KM (MT). I can't turn off the traction control or TRCK mode on the car. Neither button works, I've tried pressing the left side button for the traction control as per the car's manual, and the right track button for holding 3seconds. Tried with the car off/on. with the E-brake on, every combination. Nothing works? Am I Missing something here or what's going on..

Called the dealership to book an APT to have them look at it, but I would prefer if I was missing an easy fix to do it myself...

Thanks

It is as simple at that.

Start your car
Press and hold the track button for 3 sec or so it should you Traction light and "Track" in green should display below the speed.

Push button again to turn off.

Push traction button and the traction light should illuminate. This will go back off after 40MPH or so.

Push and hold traction button. traction light and oh shit light should illuminate. This will stay on until you turn it of or restart the car.

I do not know of any situation that would keep this from working.

unless they forgot to plug them back in after doing a short shift install at port?

This is where I would start. pull off the shifter bezel and make sure the wires are connected to the switch.

It’ll take you 5 mins to pop the shifter bezel to see if it’s plugged in. Even better.. do the buttons light up with your lights turned on?
