Found one in downtown Nampa. Not bad. A slice and a soda during the weekday is $4.29, and They have root beer on tap.

Needed pizza after all the talk

None. Unlike the Hornet the Intrepid has been substantially altered inside. More like being in a big building than a ship. There was even drywall and suspended ceilings.

Boring

If you are still in town, John’s of Bleeker St is always an excellent option. They do not sell by the slice, but just hunker down for the long haul.

If you are willing to make a trip into Brooklyn it becomes a whole different game. L&B Spumoni Gardens’ Sicilian is the hands down best I have ever had, that it makes my mouth water as I type this. Di Fara’s is also another excellent option.

Really making me miss home right now!

I can't seem to understand the popularity of ramen noodles. Ramen reminds me when I had no $$ while in college. Even the fancy (read: expensive for no reason) ramen places in NYC (there are tons) taste like cup o'noodles to me.

Until I am personally able to introduce you to a couple of my favorite ramen joints in Portland, my opinion is just words. I can only suggest keeping an open mind until you've had the real thing. It can be an amazingly delicate, nuanced, and yes, totally fulfilling experience. https://www.facebook.com/RamenSyndicate/ Thanks to @Decay107 and friends for the education

We're on the back side of the trip, tooling around my old stomping grounds in Western New York and Ontario. Would've loved to try it but all good things...

I eat them once a quarter to remind myself that aviation is a very cyclical industry.
