I'm not a huge fan of the stock PP wheels and I haven't found many cheap options for winter wheels that can clear the PP brakes, so I was thinking of removing the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires currently on the stock wheels and replacing them with some winter tires. Then, in the spring I'll get some new wheels to mount the P4S on.



Any downsides to this plan?

As long as your Michelins are dry rotted there's not gonna be any issue. Make sure you wash the underside of the brz during the winter and don't have too much fun doing donuts.

Then, look for new summer wheels when my P4S need to be replaced.
