86 TRD SE TRACK CAR AT STREETS OF WILLOW - FEATURING 17" APEX ARC-8 WHEELS

Check out Pasi's beautiful 2019 86 TRD SE rolling on 17" APEX ARC-8 wheels. Our photographer, Andrew @buildjournal, tagged along with Pasi during his recent track outing at Street of Willow in an effort to capture this car in action. Pasi and his former FRS were actively participating in the SoCal 86Cup series for a couple of years, and he is excited about developing the new platform and dicing it up with the rest of the 86cup competitors.

Lightweight 17" wheels in a chassis specific width and offset is one of the key modifications 86/BRZ track enthusiasts like Pasi count on for maximizing performance, reducing rotational mass, and mitigating the seasonal tire budget. The 17.8 lbs ARC-8 was designed with brake clearance in mind, clearing a variety of big brake kits including the factory Brembo's found on the Performance Package BRZ and TRD SE 86 models.

+1 for Apex wheels! Used them on my SpecE46 car and now on my BRZ. You won't find a better value than these.

These guys offer a 50% discount if you damage one of their wheels and need a replacement (inquire for details). How many other companies offer that?! https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...0eacfe8b88.jpg

Do Alex wheel clear ATS from and EvoX rear brembo?

What offer or size? I would love 17” preferable and able to run 255/40 wheels all around

Not sure if they clear those, but I know they clear the PP Brembo's.

They only offer one size right now; 17x9 ET42.

I appreciate the kind words, and great to see a SpecE46 driver in there. Our wheel replacement program is still flying under the radar, but enthusiasts that discover it are pretty pumped to learn about the significant savings - especially hardcore track enthusiasts and club racers looking to reduce their seasonal running cost any way they can :)

Correct, our ARC-8 17x9" ET42 clears the factory Brembo BBK found on the PP and TRD models, as well as the Cadillac / Evo X Brembo's as shown below.
