I don't have the Ecutek OBD2 cable it was tuned and I didn't receive the Ecutek with the car. So I need a new module or whatever maybe I'll get Ecutek instead. I was mainly talking about the Valenti tune getting rid of that.

Get a used cable. Because oft wont work if you already have a tune on the car. And then get a tune

So I would need a Ecutek and not an OFT. That's good to know, guess I'll get an Ecutek and a tune for my upgrades. Thanks for the information now where do I get a tune.

Where do you live? Ecutek website has tuners in all states lastvi checked. And etunes can be done. The best IMO are HRI, MotoEast and Delicious Tuning.

Best based on what? Your vast experience with having your car tuned by everyone and your magical ability of of being able to feel a few hp difference between tunes :bonk: Or just based on what you have read on the forum?

DT seems to be sucking lately since Zach left. People are having....issues to put it lightly.

OP should elaborate on why he wants a new tune.

So it seems the current tune or no tune on my car is running rich since I have a lot of black soot from my exhaust. I am in need of a new tune to make it run correctly.

I also still need to get the recall done on the valves.

I'm not new to Subaru but I'm new to the FA engine and DI. I'm a big EJ guy and trying to learn something new.

Been having fun learning how to drive RWD at Autocross events so far. Just want the car to run right.

Get a bluetooth obd2 connector(around 12 bucks on amazon) and download the torque app(lite is free). I would take some peaks at your AFR first before making a change. You are already on an uncattted header so that is not going to help. My exhaust tips are a bit sooty too but it is not much to worry about.

Yeah I wasn't too worried would just like to get the tune smoothed out. It runs fine a few weird hiccups but nothing to worry about. I just say a used Ecutek and wideband forsale here on the forums I might buy.
