Looks like a fancy pinstripe to me, and i am not a fan of pinstripes...

just did the conversion from yen to USD, those stripes cost $270. I could be wrong but I bet you could find a local vinyl/graphics place to make you something similar for less. I kind of like them, not enough to put them on my car, but enough that I'd enjoy seeing them on someone elses. :)
