Bumped back to front page. Thanks for looking!

I'm interested although confused when you say it doesn't have the license. What does that mean I need to pay Ecutek to be able to use this cable and DESKEY (dongle)

Hey, I sent you a more detailed reply over PM. But for anyone else looking, this link does a good job explaining the Ecutek system complexities: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=117520
The short answer is: Yes. You will have to pay Ecutek (usually through your tuner) for a license to load on to your ECU before you can use this (or any!) cable to load a tune on to your car. Here's an example cost breakdown if you wanted to go from stock to a Delicions Tuning Stage 1 or 2 tune:
Basically, with the cable I'm selling you can save $100-$125 ($250 vs $350-$375). Hope this helps. -Matt |
Bumping up to front page again. Both items still available.
