"I need to make the gap on both sides of the hood match"
"You need to loosen the bolts on the fender and move the fender to close/open the gap"
"How does that adjust the hood?"
....

Don't listen to any of that....easiest way to adjust is look at your hood, figure out which side has the biggest gap, go to the other side of the hood, open it up have your friend hold a two by four flat against the narrow edge near the hinge and then whack the 2x4 with a 5lb sledge. Check the alignment. Keep repeating until the gap matches. You may have to repeat alternating sides but eventually you can get it there.

Does it block your view of the road when driving?

I'm just playing with yah!! It's the really fast Twins (BRZeees, SC and TC Scions) need to worry as they can generate enough velocity to really get the bonnet moving...

Ask any racer. Any real racer. It don't matter if you win by an inch or a mile. Winning's winning.
