interior led and exterior LED upgrades
 

Hi Everyone,

So I have a 2019 BRZ and most of the lights are LEDS however I wanted to upgrade the dome and the door vanity lights and the license plate and trunk lights. Wondering what kind of bulbs I should be buying as well as if anyone has experiences with a particular brand I should be going for as well as brightness. I'm looking to upgrade them to something quite bright as well as in white or cool white. If you anyone has suggestions that would be great!

Diode Dynamics has all of those lights available in LED. This is what I ordered for my '17 BRZ. Dome light is brighter than stock, but you may desire a brighter option.

For the license plate LEDs I used Philips 127916000KB2 T10/168/12961 White 6000K LED light bulb, 2 Pack

All are cool white 6000K bulbs, very good lighting all around. Don't bother asking for photos - you would only see my take on smartphone night photos of bulbs (useless).

I agree with @tarzan_nojane that pictures wouldn't really do justice. Diode Dynamics has some, but ultimately just make sure they are all the same temperature. The lumen ratings I posted were brighter than stock, but not blinding.

Got these to fix the inside lights/backup. You can get them in different colors.

Congratulations on your new purchase. That is also the first thing I did when I bought mine - change the car lighting. It wasn't bad, but I wanted to have them switched for the smart ones where you can change it to any color using your phone only. So, for the license plate LEDs, I used Philips 127916000KB2 T10/168/12961 White 6000K LED light bulb.
