OEM Rear Fog Light Socket

Hi guys, I have a '14 BRZ that I bought used in 2015. It came with the OEM rear fog light. That socket has gotten corroded and now it won't work, so my rear fog is inactive. I am wondering if anyone knows a site where I can just by the socket by itself and splice some wires. I thought any 7440 socket would do but this one on my car has 3 wires where as all the sockets I find at my local parts store have 2 wires. Thanks in advance for any help I receive.

I used this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Mine is wired to the front fogs. No need for a third wire.

Very nice, mine has 3 wires though and is wired to the taillights, could I buy that and just splice it to my current set up? I would have an extra wire just hanging around.

Pretty much if my socket has 3 wires, does that mean I can only replace it with a socket that has 3 wires?

7443 = 3 wire
7440 = 2 wire

You can shove a 7440 bulb in a 7443 socket and it'll work, you can shove a 7443 in a 7440 socket and it'll work (on just one intensity). Buy whichever you want and wire it however you want, it doesn't matter with these.

Oh wow, thanks! Didn't even consider that it could have been a 7443 socket. I appreciate this a lot!
