Had 9mi when I drove it off the lot and they were from driving to the gas station and back. Definitely give them a call, ask for Leo (he is the one that handled my order). He got me my car in 2 weeks when i thought itd be over a month. Plus, theyre the biggest allocated dealer in the area so theyd be your quickest option, most likely :)

REALLY?!?!?! Effffffff... That's where I had my test drive. The guy was so pushy it made me want to run away. He also was pushing for me to purchase the Asphalt FR-S they had on the lot and I wanted Whiteout. He said one thing about ordering the car after I mentioned Ourisman offerred a $500 deposit to secure the vehicle. I'm calling them tomorrow! :thanks:

Waited exactly 1 month and 1 day from order to picked up. Ordered 7/2 picked up today 8/3.

I'm not very proactive about asking anymore as he reminded me.

But seriously, you should totally learn to drive a stick either way. Even with how awesome the A/T is on this model, it pales in comparison to the M/T. (I've driven them both now) Plus it is just a really good idea to learn to drive a stick either way. Also, for what it's worth, I would put this car at a 8/10 for learning M/T on. RWD is always good because you are less likely to burn out if you flub up your take off, the engine isn't overly torquey so you probably won't burn out too much anyways, and the shifter feels like melted butter going from gear to gear so not likely to miss gears. Oh also, the engine is rev happy so you will see yourself over reving more often than under reving, which is good when you are first learning.

The only negative I've found as far as learning a stick is that the clutch pedal throw is real short, which is good for racing, but makes it a bit harder for learning.

The guy that handled mine (Leo, Tall white guy, glasses, etc) was somewhat pushy (which most car salesmen are lol) but I went in there knowing what I wanted, didnt listen to any of their "sales mumbo jumbo", told them what I wanted and didnt want, and they ordered it and it was much smoother from there. Only reason I chose them is because I knew theyd get one the quickest because theyre the biggest dealer around and they get first allocations. I hope everything goes well! Once you get it, we will both have whiteout a/t frs! lol

It's funny, seems like a lot of people had pushy sales guys... My guy was awesome, I went in and said, "I need my payment lowered, if it can't happen no worries, you can sell this car to anyone I'm sure, if it can, I love this car and I would be super happy to pick one up." He basically responded with, "Let's see what we can do." I ended up getting my payment lowered from my old car (A Gen Coupe, mostly due to my credit improving from making payments to my Gen Coupe for a year and a half.), and got the car. But he was totally understanding when I said, "Here is what you have to work with, make it happen." It was the best sales experience I've ever had to be quite honest.

Majority of car salesmen are that way (not all, but a lot of them are pushy, sly people thatll do anything to get you in their car) I just ignored their crap, told them flat-out, and they got it here lol But best believe I told them to remove the koons sticker that was on the car! haha. The salesmen there might be pushy, but they will most likely get you your car quickest (maybe not if any other dealer has a whiteout a/t on its way already)

My guy was good once I ordered it, they worked with me a lot, got a lower finance rate, etc (me being 19 and buying a 26k car on my own, I had to try to do what I could lol) But he was pushy until I ordered it. Once they knew itd be mine, they did everything they could lol

Check cars.com within 100 miles of where you live...you might be surprised.

That's what I did, Cars.com.. there seems like quite a few AT are available if you're willing to drive/ship out of state, although some are jacked up in pricing :(

Yeah, I understand... But I still gotta say, Shout out to Roger at Toyota of Kirkland (It's near Seattle WA) He took care of me, and he also runs a Toyota car club out here. He is seriously good people for anyone in the SeaTac area who is thinking about getting an FR-S. He also knows all about the car, more so than any other sales person I've talked to about enthusiast cars.

Also, holy crap man, I can't believe you financed a 26k car on your own at 19... I am 27 and honestly was financed largely because of my stupidly high income as opposed to good credit rating... That is some pretty epic stuff there.

Lol Thanks, i've worked pretty hard for it. I graduated when I was 15, started working and saved up enough to put 5k down, still have more in my checking acct, get a comfortable payment, and still save enough to where I can move out by the time im 22-23 lol. Im not one of those "live in the moment, and forget about the future" teenagers lol I try to think ahead lol But thanks for the compliment :)
