Brakes(?) squeaking when hot but not applied

2017 PP with 8,000 miles on current stock pads and rotors. Fourth time at the track on current brakes, sessions 3&4 I noticed a speed dependent high pitched intermittent squeaking after a few laps returning to the paddock when the brakes were NOT being applied. (Hadn't noticed on previous track days.) Quieter and a little higher pitched than normal brake application squeaking. Rotors ~280-300F. Noise is gone after cooling and never present for DD.
Possible slight brake drag/rubbing from heat expansion? Local shop says pretty normal and no issue as long as temps even and not present for DD. Anyone else experience this?

Rotors don't warp.

Others have noted the pp brembos are noisy. Part of the joys of brembos

They definitely squeak at the right (wrong) brake pressure, but this is different from that. Quieter, higher pitch and only with no brake pressure.

Season is over out here, will see if it's back in the Spring. Just odd I didn't hear it last season but I did this year (both years had basically new brakes: first season new car/brakes, second season new brakes because Subaru replace them due to pulsing).

Get better pads and fluid before next track day

I put Motul RBF 600 in there before the first track, but yes, have been considering better pads.

Suggestions? (It's also my DD)

I just installed Porterfiled R4S pads front and rear on my PP BRZ my initial impressions are good, they have a good bite when cold and warm. they are advertised to not squeak and have little dust.

there are a lot of good ones I’m using powerstop Track Day pads and great on the street and great on the track for HPDE 20-30 minute stints. Quiet also. I’ve seen a lot of combo pads that were very loud. I have 12000 miles on em and. Several track days. Replacing rotors tomorrow and will see how the pads look. I bought a new set in case they’re getting down there
