Who prefers city or country rides with the Twins?
I woke up today in Toronto around noon, coffee and drive the FR-S downtown 10km to score my Indica at the Hunny Pot. I'll zig-zag a couple streets for 6 miles through solid but moving traffic. Thrusting thru a herd of cars like an F1 race in first gear mostly. Car doesn't get hot, even in summer heat, to bother it. I try and remember the last time I drove up North...Who prefers city to country life with the Twins?

Is this a trick question?

I prefer country driving because I don't want to worry about other people on the road. Or at least as many.

I get a couple chances every nite to work, in the dark, with traction off and get onto a 2 lane expressway. Enter hard right from a stop, Peel out - uphill straight into 2nd, downhill and medium right turn at 80 to the light one km away. I can have more fun safely, flat out and drifting under 60 km/h than a new Stingray... I had ridden Ninjas to work in Toronto and Montreal, in the dark at night for almost 20 years. The rides home 80 km away in the morning against the flow of traffic on the super-bike were GP Race quick at times. Commuting in the FR-S is as close as I've ever felt otherwise. I Don't feel the need to be going top speed anymore, I love jerking my twin around downtown in broad daylight with traffic all around, lol

Twisty country back roads, usually involving pies, cheeses and coffee
Preferably with the only animal seen behind fencing and not on the road Rain, hail or shine.....well no hail....hail sucks |
Drive a few miles out of the city to the country curves. Easy.

I can be on country roads in less than 10 minutes. I drive them almost daily.
The city is okay especially when you go around a corner and leave everyone in your dust lol |

I would say the twins are fun to drive in pretty much all situations, but give me a good country back road. Unfortunately a lot of the backroads here are filled with gigantic lifted full size trucks. Passing one in the oncoming lane makes you realize you would be like a bug smashed on its bumper. Splat! [emoji33]

yes, there's nothing more that i love then to self-incriminate myself on a publicly-searchable database...

I just got my FR-S BACK after getting passed on the right while turning right into a garage. 2 months almost to drive again. Ken Shaw Toyota and TD General Ins. Paid for my Uber rides, My rental for over 7 weeks and a fresh nose and fender in Pearl White. They even rebuilt, filled and clear coated then reapplied 3M film on hood and fender fronts. Polished some spots around and tipped me on a body-man that taps out minor bumps. It's over 6 years old with a single doored spot on fender... Really happy with the results.
