Pretty sure the new mustangs have this as well, at least the 300hp v6's do.

My delete is finished. So much better!

Just my opinion but not only should they not be piping more sound into the cabin, but the sound produced is hollow and fake sounding. With it gone I realize that it almost sound like an exhaust leak.

Think I will remove my one, but will wait and see once I get it.

Think removing it makes sense

Yeah, I was at a meet on Saturday and one of the Challenger guys points to it and say, "man you have a lot of emissions crap".

Interestingly most of the guys I spoke to walked up and already knew what it was and wanted to know when I was going to get it out on the track.

I hate the noise.. it just reminds me of the lack of power. Nothing worse than making a bunch of noise and not going anywhere.. It's like a Dodge pickup truck.

I'm all for a quieter cabin on the inside.. If I want more noise it should be from mods that actually make the car faster (exhaust, turbo, etc..)

this thread is hilarious! :bellyroll:

i let my friend drive the car and i sat on the passenger side. i was surprised how much louder it sounds! it doesnt really make any difference to me though. if/when i get an intake it will be going away.

Apparently companies that showcased their products at the Fuji 86 Style event are keeping one of the distinguishing characteristics of this car intact.

lol. It's also true that researchers still don't clearly know why the appendix is there. Same with the noise generator :)
