Soundclip - JDL 2.5'' Ultra Quiet Frontpipe Overpipe combo

Hey guys, I just installed the JDL Ultra Quiet Frontpipe/Overpipe combo (catted and resonated) and wanted to share the soundclip of stock frontpipe vs JDL frontpipe. Honestly I can't tell the difference while I'm driving, but the drone is pretty much gone at 70mph with JDL.

The clearance was real tight during installation (felt like almost touching) and there's some rattling at towards the end of the video if you guys can hear it. Could it be the overpipe rubbing against the subframe?

There is literally no real change from the outside but I'd no drone then good. Now get a header and overpipe.

Yeah I primarily got this to reduce the drone which I'm really happy about. I also saw few threads of people asking if the ultra quiet combo is as quiet as stock so hopefully this helps people out too.

I won't need an overpipe since I got the frontpipe/overpipe combo. Now I'm debating whether I should get a header and sell it later when I have enough for the JDL turbo or keep saving up for the turbo kit.

I'm in the same boat. Just buy a cheap header if that's the case and enjoy stage 2 for now. No sense in over spending. I'm leaning mor towards the Maperformance turbo kit.

Just save up for turbo kit.. the resell value can take a decent hit on used headers. That.money could be put towards supporting mods.

Good advice...

Sounds good!

Lots of money and lots of noise for no power? Header would have been much better with a tune and then start adding noise.
