Oh my, - a ménage à trois gone wrong?
Seriously, that's a shame. humfrz |
Damn that's crazy!

My city of 400,000 people has 2 to 6 murders a year. Back in 2011 our next door neighbor killed his wife. There were only two homicides that year so 50% of the murders were on my street!
The police have said that 90% of the homicides in our city are done by people know to the victims. Not a whole lot of random shit. |

As an aside, don't know if anyone watched the "news" video in the article, but I couldn't take it after 5 seconds. Between the reporter's obvious fake nasal heavy "newscaster voice" and the video filmed on her phone, it was just too much. It wasn't like it was a late breaking minute-to-minute report..show a little respect for the art! |

and apparently this was a well connected family...

That's horrible. So sad.

They hate us cuz they anus.

Wow that’s crazy. The fact that the news seems to cover stories similar to these so often is sad. Be safe out there.
Guns obviously aren’t the problem. It’s how stupidly easy idiots get hold of them. Now, I don’t feel threatened when I see someone carrying one in public and I know that there are some people who’s hobby it is to collect guns or whatever and that’s cool. I just think unfortunately no matter how strict we make gun laws or how much we jam gun safety into people’s heads, shit like this will continue to happen. It’s sad but true. We don’t necessarily have to ban them or anything. Sorry it’s a bit off topic. Not an expert on anything, but just kinda how I look at things. Also, thumbs up Echo for flirting with the reporter lmao that’s funny as hell |

Local news here covers these pretty much wherever they occur, at least initially. It's just that the high profile cases are likely to have follow-up because there is more public interest in them, since they are less frequent. Not sure that is the news agency's fault. |

@Dadhawk might know who I'm talking about: Gwinnett County spokeswoman Cpl. Michele Pihera  |

probably. I've never actually seen her. I just hear her on the news all the time talking about shootings, murders, robberies and other "situations".

so this happened at a friend's place Saturday night.
I think I'm just a magnet for violent crimes. hanging on the back porch at a friends's house in the city when his neighbors were having a bit of a tiff. first a little back story these people fight a lot. last big incident was him getting drunk after getting home from being arrested for DUI. he wanted to leave but she didn't want him to so she blocked the driveway(gravel up hill) with her car. he wasn't having it so he tried to push her car with his. after ramming it a few times her gave up and walked off. Fast forward to Saturday at 6:53pm. the house they are in is a 3 unit rental. so front of the house is the main level with one person in there. out back going down the hill you have one unit downstairs and one up that is level with the front unit so the house is built into a hill. the people at the house are the BoyFriend(driver), GirlFriend(victim), the sister of the GF and her son(8 years old iirc). the BF and GF are arguing at the bottom of the driveway at the steps/patio of the lower unit. he is in the truck and she is at the drivers window. he starts to pull off and she's staying next to him for a few steps so I look away for a second because I didn't want to get called out for being nosy. I look back and they're gone. It might have been 3-5 secs max because I just couldn't look away. my initial thought was, "lol I bet she's hanging on the side of the truck." because he took off fast and they were no where to be found. then I figured she just went back in the house really fast. then in what I would guess was less than a minute later he come running back down the driveway screaming, "OMFG I need a phone" etc. we run out front and my friend who got there first is yelling to get towels. so we grab them and go outside to find her in the street maybe 10 yards away from the end of the driveway which I would estimate to be about 40-50ft long from where they took off from. her face is smashed, the blood is pouring out of her face/ears big time and she's rolling around in agony. one of the girls at the house with us is a nurse so she's out there holding the towels on her face and my friend's wife is calling 911. meanwhile the BF and sister are FREAKING the F out. cops and ambulance show up pretty quickly. the BF tells the cop that he was following him out and fell down or some BS that didn't make it look like he had her holding onto the side of the truck as he drove away. well when he goes inside to get her ID he stops to pick up her phone that was on the ground at the end of the driveway. I tell the cop that his story is total BS and fill him on what I saw. when he gets back the cop starts talking to him and puts him under arrest. sparing the rest of the details the sergeant gets on scene and I tell him what happened then later the "incident reconstruction team" arrives to take pics and piece together what happened and I tell them the same thing. they all agree that it all fits together. currently the BF is in jail with charges of reckless conduct. the GF is still in the ICU with 3 broken ribs, broken shoulder, broken elbow, broken face, broken skull and brain bleeding. I just hope I don't have to go to court. |

There's about zero chance they won't ask you to be a witness. Truth told though I don't think this will ever make it to court. |

the problem with rentals is not the cost, or the location, or the availability. it's the low intelligence of the majority that need to rent.

around here 1 bedroom apartments near my house cost more to rent than my mortgage and I have a 3 bed, 2 bath townhouse with a 2 car garage. |
So she held onto the truck as he drove away, fell off and he's at fault...interdasting.

He could be driving down some highway in Atlanta right this second with her still hanging on if he kept going and she held on better. |

Probably a daily event in Florida so you are just immune to this sort of thing. |

there's no way she could have sustained the injuries that she had by him stopping. given the injuries it looks like he ran over her shoulder/arm/ribs and that happening made her slam her face into the ground. that or he also ran over her face. @ the Florida comment. |

Speaking of holding on to moving objects, remember that time when that retard jumped on Tony Stewart's racecar? That didn't pan out too well. |

Any state that was part of the Confederacy should be avoided by all thinking people.

I don’t think so I’m safe down here. Florida is growing 300K per year so I guess a lot of non-thinking people are on the run. |

Then again, as far as I know no one living in Georgia was actually part of the Confederacy, and rednecks can be found everywhere (unless those are thinking rednecks living elsewhere, which sounds REALLY dangerous). |
