2019 BRZ Fog Light Question

I have a new BRZ with the LED fog lights. Has anyone changed them over to yellow LED ones? If so any details are appreciated.

Thank you for this thread. I'm also thinking about the same mod. I want to ask, if it is OK to use a yellow transparent film to make the fog lights yellow, instead of changing the LEDs?

Due to the way LED's work putting yellow film over non-yellow LED's will cut down on light output (possibly significantly). If you're just after looks it should be fine, but if you want actual performance benefits of yellow fogs you should order a replacement yellow LED fog assembly.

For me I am looking for the benefits. Does anyone know if and what bulb type it is and if's accessible enough to just switch out LED bulbs?

You should probably just go with some pre-cut yellow vinyl film and call it a day.

imo stock white led fogs look way better and classier than the "JDM" yellow fog setup.

I'll look into the film. I like the current OEM output and won't have a problem keeping them that way. I have always changed my fog lights out to yellow ones in all my cars. It's worth trying the film to see if I like it. Thanks for the comments.

I have Lamin-X on my BRZ and its honestly great ive had no issues with it. Im not sure if they have them for your model, but i think there are other vendors that will have it. I really dont think it will mess with the output that much.
