I just lost 1 pcs of adhesive weight on the wheel
Hi Guys,
I just lost 1 pcs of adhesive weight on a wheel. and this 1 pcs should weigh about 11/5 lb (which is about 1kg). Will this affect my wheel balance? Should I do wheel balancing?? |

2 pounds of weight is an absurd amount. Something is wrong.

It was only a 0.5 OZ for 1 pcs? It looked exactly like this: https://www.coyoteaccessories.com/wh...weights/10006b Do you think it will affect the balance? |
Oh ok. That's much more reasonable. Yes it will effect balance. You may not feel it if its a rear wheel. Front you likely will.

I should get one then.. |
Yeah half an ounce doesn't seem like much but you'll feel it.
A couple weeks back I noticed an imbalance in my front wheels. (Stock wheels). I could feel the vibration around 62 MPH. Much over or under and I didn't really notice it. I checked all 4 and only the right front was off, and only by .5 oz. |
Wheels get balanced for a reason. Take it to a wheel shop and have them re-balance it. If you clean your wheels with a brush or pressure washer, maybe try to avoid the wheel weights when doing so.

Re-balance wheels, ask for sticky weights.

i don't balance my rear wheels on my frs and don't feel it at all, one little sticky like that on the rear wont be at all noticeable.

you could go to harborfrieght and pick up these wheel weights and slap on the one that is missing. https://www.harborfreight.com/1-2-ha...hts-67226.html
