Funny you mention that. There's a roller a couple of miles from me listed on Facebook Marketplace for $1300 that had caught my attention. No engine or transmission. It would make a fantastic start for a modern drive train swap.

Golden Hawk. Beautiful car. The Studebakers were ahead of their time.
That reminds me of something I forgot from my earlier list. One car that has been mostly forgotten was the Jeep Wagoneer's odd Studebaker cousin, the Wagonaire. Both station wagons were designed by Brooks Stevens.

In 2004 GM marketed the Envoy as having the "first ever sliding roof!" They were wrong. Studebaker did it in 1963.
