Where did you get recall work done in LAC/OC

I bought my car on 11/2018, renewed my tags on 4/2019, but just now realized that recall work wasn't required even though my VIN is affected. Car still drives fine though. I've been reading about the recall work and it scares me and I'm just trying to mentally prepare for 4/2020 when I have to renew and they make me do the recall or something. So I'm wondering where have people be getting their recall work done in the LA County / Orange County area and have driven it for awhile already with 0 problems? From what I've read it seems like Longo and Irvine. Should I ask for someone specifically? Just looking for confirmation to get the best experience possible and not drop my bank account on the car.

I also have the recall for being able to pull the key out while the car is not in Park. It was issued in 2/2016, but was never done so I'm wondering if I need to do the valve spring recall.

Hopefully by the 4/2020 , the "skilled technicians" would have gained enough skill to successfully replace the valve springs.

Puente Hills Subaru. Ashley is very professional and easy to work with.

Subaru won't touch FR-S in OC. I took my FR-S to Toyota Irvine, and it's been excellent so far. I'm about 8k miles deep since the recall done in February 2019. Car runs quieter, less crickets, and just smooth overall. They have a dedicated tech or two working on the twins so wait time is minimal and they provided a free loaner during the whole recall period.

I thought my car was running smooth prior to recall, but it sounded even healthier afterwards.

Ohh I forgot to mention that I'm an FRS sorry. But I'll keep it in mind for my BRZ buddies! (:

Interesting thanks! That sound promising especially since it seems like a lot of the problems usually occur before like 5k miles

I would hope so lmao. Unless they got "skilled" then quit.

Oh, but I did. I read that entire thread and a bunch others, but I'm just trying to get a more narrowed down and recent result. That's why I said it seems like Longo/Irvine, but I'm unsure if there's a go to spot for all of us now.

Thinking of Irvine but it's a bit of a drive. Do they give a loaner car at least?

They had a choice between a Corolla or a RAV4 as a loaner lol, the RAV4 was so terrible, I had to swap to a Corolla.

Took car in on a Friday, got it back Monday/Tuesday
