Will a 2018 GT86 Rear Bumper fit a 2014 BRZ?

So far, I’ve read that they fit, except the black trim on the toyota has those new wavy shape that goes horizontally along the entire rear. (See photo)

I was wondering if its possible to separate the black trim from the bumper, and use my old brz black trim on the new white bumper?

The bumper probably fits but I know at least that the 2014 bumper is a single piece, the black part is not removable (without cutting it off)

Can potentially total your car.

I advise to proceed with caution, do not tell your nearest dealer in case of possible repossession of your vehicle.

This modification can cost upwards of 20,000$.

It's a single piece bumper. No good way to separate the painted and unpainted areas.
If you want a different look on the kouki 86 bumper, an option is to find an OEM+ piece that fits over the lower bumper section, like GR, TRD, or Modellista.
