Where did you get yours? I had the same one on my 370 and have been searching one for my 86.

I'd want a rear one as opposed to the front though. The front end is perfect looking and doesn't need any tow hook screwing that up.

I need to get a hold of a second stock tow hook. I'd like an aftermarket pair, but at $100+ it's just not worth it.

The reason why I want two is because there's no place in the rear to connect ratchet straps without an axle strap or wheel net. Having a pair for the rear towhook spots would make towing the car on a trailer a lot easier.

Yeah I wish a non >$100 solution existed. That's crazy. I bought one for my 370 for $35 with overnight shipping for $8.

I laugh so fucking hard at the posers who put those huge fucking tow hooks on stock (or even modded) Civics and the like...

I'm going to put these are my car so that if I see a cement truck stuck in the mud on the side of the road, I can be a good samaritan, hook my car up to his truck, and pull him out.

LOL its lowered on Work Kiwamis now for street, the enkeis are for track but i have not gotten a picture with them and the the new suspension setup. Cant go to low or else the car will be useless for the track.

If he had a front tow hook fitted and was able to be towed on front first his radiator, intercooler and bumper would still be alive... May have needed a few bits of wood if it was super low like my Holden LS2 was but u get my point....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0AFdbtX56jA

$100-$150 is crazy expensive! can you just fab one up with a high strength bolt and loop?

i agree with you its a pain to load lowered cars on a tow truck without a tow hook. Ive had my share of bad experiences.



On my s14.5 the tow truck driver ripped out my front bumper since the car was so low the tow line ripped the bumper form under the car, it would have been another story if i had a tow hook.

Also on my Evo X i had to take the bumper off to get her on a shipping truck the clutch was to hard to drive up the ramp and they could not attach a line under the car because it would have ripped out the bumper as well. A tow hook would have saved me the trouble of having to take off the bumper.

Tow hook is a must for anyone looking to lower or fit aftermarket bumper on the 86/BRZ unless ur willing to remove ur bumper if u ever need to be towed.. Otherwise it WILL get ripped off, possibly bottom out......

Unless u have a few timber boards and a well educated tilt truck driver.... Goodluck with that!!!!

Get straps u can push back into the bumpers if u hate the ricey fluro hook looking ones.......
