Do STI Rear Spats fit on a 2017+(Kouki) Toyota 86?
 

I have read every post concerning the subtle differences in the rear bumper covers between the BRZ and the 2017+ 86, but I didn’t see any comments regarding fitment of STI rear spats on an 86 rear bumper. The pictures, when put side to side, look as if there wouldn’t be any fitment issues (because but wanted to ask and see if anyone has done this and could confirm.

Looks like the 86 bumper has an extra body line around the rear diffuser, the BRZ is smooth.

It will not fit.

Bought Bayson R spats that originally claimed 2017+ BRZ and 86 fitment. They did not fit, so I told them. They have now updated most of their “spats” to state only FRS and BRZ models.

I had to buy Varis spats specifically made for 2017+ Kouki 86 models.

They don’t fit, varis and modelista make the closest thing. No replica low cost options yet.
