Eh. Run it till she brakes.

You just bought the wrong car anyways.
With a new Civic SI you'll never have to worry about bouncing off redline. Cause we all know hondas live on the redline. That vtec kick in bro.

I would just set you car on fire, don't bother trying to sell it. You know you fucked up when you didn't buy that nice Civic SI. Come back to it. Besides you'll be schooling those 86 again.

If you shift a hair over the suggested shift points for each gear, you will be parting out by the end of the month. I have no idea why those crazy engineers forgot to paint the redline down around 3k rpm...such a silly mistake.

good lord people, the car is rated to ~200 bhp. When do you think that happens? 1500 rpm? If you drive it around under 4 grand all day, you might have well have purchased a used Geo since you're not getting even half the value you paid for out of the motor.

Most of the things that go wrong with these stock FA motors will occur relatively independently of how hard you push the motor. E.g. coil pack failure (most likely a heat soak issue), oil leaks (most likely a sealant misapplication issue), etc.
