How can you be sure there are no leaks after install?

I torqued, and retorqued after 3 heat cycles (kuz i was busy).

Hissing, popping, smell. Those would be for a big leak.

Is there a definitive way to be sure there are no leaks at all? Chrisfix's soapy wooder and a blower?

Is there a sanity check yall use? Like "if you cant detect it with the hood open youre good"

Can you see anything?
Can you hear anything?
Can you smell anything?
The same things apply to small leaks as you mentioned for big ones.
If you can't find a leak there probably isn't any.

1 mile lap around the block and park it. If everything was installed correctly there won't be any leaks.

You do this to listen/smell? Or you retorque after the 1 mile

I ended up driving 30, then 115, park for 4 days, 115, and then 30 before i could retorque lol

This may not be a popular suggestion but, if you wanna be sure just take it to an exhaust shop and indicate you think you have an exhaust leak. Save you the hassle in the long run.

Nah my endgame plan is to do the soap and water check when i move into a place with a garage this friday. Currently im going to a buddys house and the deal is i fill up his tank for his garage and tools lol

Edit: im not opposed to just getting a shop to do it but only if its because they have very specialized tools

You could buy a smoke test machine on amazon and plug it into one of the exhaust tips while blocking the other (if you still have a dual exit). You'll have to turn the crank pulley yourself to close the exhaust valves in the heads, but the smoke would start coming out of any leaks you may have.

This is kind of an extreme type of check to DIY, but this is likely what an automotive performance shop will do to check for exhaust leaks. As other people have said, if it's not obvious, don't even worry about it. You mentioned your concern was CO poisoning, but even if the exhaust is leaking a tiny bit, it's outside the cabin anyways. Very little of that CO, if any, will make it into the cabin, and certainly not enough to cause any problems under normal use (i.e. not sleeping in the car with the engine running).

Vacuum to the tailpipe (be sure to seal it so its not just pulling air through the muffler) and a tube to the ear with the other end in hand, checking all the joints. Better than soap because you can be confident even where you can't see clearly.

Am I the only one here who is wondering what was installed before giving advice?

Pretty sure that is what others and myself have already said. You ware overthinking this unless you believe there is a leak you can't find. If there is a leak large enough to fill the car with exhaust and poison you then you would have no doubt it was there.
