I know, domestic wheels on import cars are often frowned on. Nothing else comes close to the 'claw' visual I needed to fit the huge full-side-of-the-car decals I had custom done though, so domestic it was!

Edit for one caveat: These wheels are 57.1mm bore, so you'll need a 56.1mm to 57.1mm centering ring. It's cheap, less than $10US for a set of four in aluminum, but tire and wheel stores don't stock this generally so order it elsewhere!

And if I'm going for the old-school muscle car look, that was more often higher aspect ratio tires, and I'm lazy and would rather run 'high temperature winter tires' year round than swap back and forth constantly. So I wanted to see if their 16x7 option would fit.

According to the charts, it most likely would, but AR actively said nothing smaller than the 17" stock wheel size would fit as far as they knew.

Anyways, when I noticed there's... basically nobody running American Racing wheels at all on any twin that I've found, and this also happens to ding an untouched offset in the grids, figured it was worth posting this up, which finally got me to register here on the site.

Also these are an exceptionally light-weight wheel at the 16" size, with the wheel + centering ring being just a hair under 17.5lbs. So clad with 205/55R16's it's a combined weight of just 35lbs total per fully balanced wheel + tire.

With centering ring just under 17.5lbs, and tires for this width are extremely light, so you can expect ~35lbs per corner. Also updated the original post with that information, thank you for reminding me as that was an oversight on my part!
