JDL UEL + Dezod 2.5" catback

Hey all,

I'm thinking of the above setup for my '13 fr-s.

If I purchase the above two, what else would I need to purchase for a complete exhaust setup? Just an overpipe? Which kind of gaskets would I need?

Do you know how loud the car will be?

Didn't think anyone would want to buy a Dezod after everything that they got exposed for.

I certaintly won't recommend them after my experience.

The exhaust itself was of good sound and quality (aside from exhaust tips differing in length), but from the customer experience side. Fuck ever going through that again.

FWIW - I'm going to have a used one for sale pretty soon. It was installed by the previous owner. The build quality is fantastic and it sounds amazing, but it is just too loud for my situation.

Ah so I'd need a front pipe as well? Any recommendations for overpipe and frontpipe? Or would leaving it stock be fine?

Yikes I was not aware of these problems. Can you go into more detail?

It just depends on if you want a cat or not. The stock one has a secondary cat in it.

You can PM me if you want to know more. It seems that publically posting your experiences will often lead to a witchhunt.

Several people have reported problems with uneven or misaligned tips. Several people have also experienced long wait times with lots of excuses. Then there's the issue of the owner PMing people with "I saw you 'haha' reacted on this person's FB post about Dezod. Care to discuss?" Which is a little weird.

Personally, the owner called me a bitch ass, but I might have deserved that.

I've got similar messages in my inbox. You're not alone. This half makes me want to take the effort to remove my diffuser and remove the exhaust. The way he's treating people is just not right.

But I've chalked it up as an experience, and all I can do is sway others away based off my experience.
