Only 20% Of BRZs Have Cloth Seats?

https://www.autoblog.com/2019/05/21/...smission-take/

I heard a rumor that only 20% of BRZ came with cloth seats, the rest were leather with alcantara inserts.

Mind = blown.

I'm wondering if its the 'cloth seat' cars that suffer the most from seat heaters blowing fuses... wet farts shorting the electrical elements...

cloth seats are a fart sponge. Given the option who wouldn't spring for the leather. You already are springing more for the BRZ over the 86/FRS might as well double down on the leather.

I love the cloth seats, they're impressive at holding air freshener odor. I'm done owning cars that smell like melting crayons (E36 BMW) noneya have taste

I didn't even know cloth was an option. I have never seen a twin without alcantara.

It's the ONLY option in the FRS as far as I know... :'( I think it looks better than the leather anyway. YET SOMEHOW ONLY 20% of BRZ ARE CLOTH, whoa.:burnrubber::burnrubber::burnrubber::burnrubb er::burnrubber::burnrubber::burnrubber:

as far as i know, the cloth seats are in the premium model, and can't be had with heated seats.

i would have preferred to have cloth seats. but i required seat heaters.

Where I come from ,if you want a heated seat, you sit on your jacket. @Tcoat @humfrz help me out here :'( They don't get it.

I can't help you - :(

My 2013 FR-S has cloth seats and doesn't have a seat heater.

I found leather (real leather) car seats were cold in the winter and hot in the summer - :iono:

The question was - how do you heat up your cloth seats without a seat heater? What are some strategies?! I say sitting on your jacket is the best :) I agree though, leather isn't great in a climate that has both extremes. You wouldn't want steel or aluminum seats after all, so why is leather any better?! And it smells like crayons :mad0259:
