Turbo and tuner

I’m new to the frs club I had an Audi tt before so the tuning of a unturbo is new to me. What turbo is recommended to have over 300-400hp and what self tuner do I use to that I can change the air to fuel ration

Hello robertplas and welcome to our happy gang -

Personally, I'm an old NA guy, so I can't help you.

Meanwhile, while you are waiting for someone to come along, you may wish to look over the forum sections that cater to forced induction and tuning.

Have fun modifying your new machine - ;)

This thread may have explosive potential.

I love how the first thing people want to do when they get a twin is add power.

And it is always "300 to 400" as if that is some magic number. What is wrong with adding 50 or 60 and having a car that can actually be daily driven without as much risk of blowing up or spinning out?

Maybe because 300-400 hp is the safest way to turbo your car without having to do internal engine mods and why just want 50 hp what’s that gunna do give me flutter blow off noise sorry but don’t think

And saying 250 doesn't give any street cred at all!

Yikes.

Should've bought a car meant for straight line. I hear used Mustangs are pretty cheap.

Smells like graduation! Maybe people just don't know how forums work? There is an entire sub forum dedicated to turbos. Several kits have their own threads, thousands of posts in each of them.

Do you walk into the store, go to the cashier and say "Which liquid will cause this level of inebriation without a hangover?"

Tough crowd here, today, right robertplas - ;)

I think what we are saying is that you should consider doing a little more scrolling and reading, than typing.- :)

Personally, if I wanted a 300 HP car, I would look into superchargers then contact a local tuner to set me up and tune my car.

Don't bother. OP know's what he needs, 3 to 400 HP for burnouts and light-to-light.

Go nuts, OP!
