SPDA - Barrie Subaru Charity Track Day (ATTS) - CTMP DDT, June 1, 2019
 

Kinda super late posting this but better late than never!

SPDA is hosting a track day on June 1st at CTMP DDT in conjunction with Barrie Subaru to support Cystic Fibrosis Canada.

Is this the only ATTS for the year from SPDA?

There's are 2 official ATTS days, June 1at and Sept 7th. We'll also be helping out with Subaru Meet and Track day hosted by NV Auto at TMP on July 14.

SPDA runs the best DDT days I'm aware of. Would be going if I wasn't working another event.

How many you have signed up?

And how are things run with run groups/time on track/# drivers at a time etc?

I believe we have about 40 drivers. We only have room for another 5 or so.

We generally split it up to 4 groups, novices, intermediates, advanced and and coaches. The coaches group may disappear when we have too many drivers enrolled in a group since we'll have to split that group up into 2. We have pro CTMP marshals and they generally have say on how many cars are on the track at one time. Each group has dedicated time slots and are on the track about 6 or 7 times during the day.

If its anything like previous SPDA days, you will have more than enough track time. As for number of cars out on track at the same time, its up to the DDT track marshals (Mosport staff) to determine.

If you get stuck behind someone, remember you always have the ability to pit out. Tell the guy releasing people that you want to be in front of which car and generally they will be appreciative and will try to accommodate since you took the time to do this and not be the ass hat who dive bombs a corner.

I've never had a bad time at SPDA DDT days ever.

I REALLY wish I could make this but I'm moving that day... :barf:

I'm not sure if my car will be ready to run that day or not. My target date has been June 5th in Grand Bend.
