Tried To Give It Another Shot

Today I traded in my 2017 BRZ W/Performance Package for a DSG equipped 2018 Golf GTI SE. I will definitely be missing the awesome seating position and the handling. However, my commute and roads near by me did not pair well with the BRZ.

One down more to go. Lol jk.

But really, I'm not.

I bought an old swb 4wd zook vitara for where the road is not.
Most fwd/rwd cars need a good road.
The brz is not for potholed bad roads , so it only ventures onto good roads.

I bought mine when I lived in New Orleans and drove all over Louisiana. The street I lived on in is posted below. It's typical of the city.

The BRZ is not really as bad on potholes as people like to pretend. This car just isn't for everyone.

I just treat pot holes like an autox course with reversed cones.

Fucking brilliant. Just made my morning.

Pot holes didn't have a huge impact on my decision to get rid of the BRZ because the BRZ actually has thicker sidewalls than the GTI. It really came down to not having curvy roads nearby to exploit the BRZ's handling and revving out the vehicle was getting tiresome during my daily commute.

DSG + GTI is a strange combo.

That's a car that needs a manual.

In my city you would replace the pot holes with slow moving SUVs that can't stay in their lane
