What kind of bike racks can you get for your BRZ?

It'll be nice to get one which doesn't require a hitch. I found these: https://www.thule.com/en-us/us/bike-...ks?q=GYjZartGB

Do they hit the spoiler? Let me know if anyone has experience with this.

Thanks!

I put my bike inside. XL frame MTB. Take the front wheel and the seat post off and it fits well. You need a rack only if you’re packing more than 1 bike IMO

so the problem with the archway/gateway series of racks is that they rest on the paint. i have a saris bones rack that i used on a different car-- one 10 mile trip to the trails was enough to permanently obliterate the paint in every spot the rack touched. the paint looked like it was wet-snded with 120 grit. and that was with cleaning the car and the bike rack pads before use.

i was never able to get the rack to fully tighten down either-- it was a tighten, drive 2 miles and then retighten type ordeal. i was able to avoid further paint damage by using soft towels under all the contact points, but because of the tighten/drive/retighten thing i lost a lot of towels, and ended up with new marks in the paint. i don't believe that thule's rack options are going to be any different in performance.

so suffice it to say, i don't like options that touch the paint, though all of those will clear the dinky oem spoiler.

I do the tow hook method, I like it.. nothing touches the exterior of the car
