3" Exhaust Sound?

Hey all,

I have searched and read so many threads about this already, but yet I still need help deciding which route to go with my exhaust. The car is a 2017 and has a Perrin 3" resonated cat back, my JDL catless uel header is arriving today. I'm having troubles selecting an op/fp. I want to stay 3" because I plan on doing FI in the next year or so (either JRSC or FBM).

My top choice right now is the JDL 3" op/fp combo (catted and resonated). I've read some people say that this is too loud, or that fitment issues required stiffer motor mounts. Anyone have a sound clip of this setup? Any opinions on how it sounds? Would sti motor mounts solve any clearance issues?

Thanks in advance

Other brand is fine but mainly looking for the catted/resonated sound.

I lied. The op/fp is 2.75" my bad.

Catted fp and resonated and big muffler. It's the full ultimate racing exhaust.

I have the the Greddy Evo gt, JDL ultra quiet front / over pipe in 3 inches and JDL's catted uel, personally I felt like the catted/resonated front/over pipe did a great job at keeping the noise level down I felt it was only slightly louder than stock over / front pipe and I had zero fitment issue at all it did not knock on anything and I have the factory motor mounts. I will say if you don't install the v band clamp with it rotated in a certain position on the pipe it might knock on something but i'm not even sure this would happen. But as always this is my personal opinion. Here is a clip of my exhaust
