17x9 +35 Enkei RPF1 and 2014 BRZ Launch Edition

Do the Brembos came with the 2014 BRZ Launch Edition fit with the RPF1 in the title?

BRZs didn't come with Brembos until MY2017...

EDIT: Those size wheels do not clear Brembos

What about the BBK came with the 2014 Launch Edition BRZ? I believe they have STI stickers on the calipers.

What ^^ said. The only reference I can find online to a "launch edition" brz is this thread. If it was really a launch edition, it wouldn't have been 2014 either... it would've been 2012 in Japan or 2013 in North America.

Not sure what a Launch Edition is myself. A guy bought my flex fuel kit asked me this when we met yesterday. He likes my RPF1 but not sure they’ll fit his BBK. His BBK calipers have sti logos and rotors are slotted. The calipers looks bigger than a the PP brembos tbh. According to him, those came with the “Launch Edition” trim on the 2014 BRZ.

Seems like he got misled by whoever he bought the vehicle from or told you a lie. Someone had probably swapped on WRX STi calipers on. It was a pretty popular mod early on before people started catching on to the fact they threw the brake balance of drastically.

Were they black with white STi logos?

Not just the caliper swap tho, the rotors are also larger than stock ones and they are slotted.

The swap dictates larger STi rotors as well.

Maybe swapped calipers from the 2015 WRX STI launch edition?

The BRZ didn't have a "launch edition". Especially in 2014, considering it launched in as a model year 2013.

Either take a wheel off your car and see if it clears on his, or tell him to print off the wheel fitment template and try it on his car.
