Safe to flash/unmarry OFT without intake manifold?
 

Long story short - I'm installing a Sprintex/Innovate supercharger, and have removed the entire intake manifold etc, and someone wants to buy my OFT.

I already have a Ecutek to replace the OFT with once the car is complete again, but I wanted to know if I could plug in the OFT, turn on the ignition and flash my stock map, then unmarry the OFT, while the intake is still off?

Or does everything HAVE to be complete?

As long as the ECU is powering on and the ODB connection works, you can flash it.
