CF hood resurface?

Any CF hood resurface service around here in the bay?
can commute within 25 miles, and the same day job.

THanks

Any pics of the hood? If its just the top clear coat, any body shop should be able to sand down and repaint that for you, maybe somebody experienced with painting CF. If you have cracks or chips in the epoxy where the bare fibers are showing, then you'll need to prep the surface and reapply resin. Surprisingly enough, performance boat and some bike shops (that repair CF frames) do a lot of this type of work. I vaguely recall somebody at Canepa telling me they had a bike shop in Santa Cruz repair a number of CF parts for them.

It's just top clear coat getting faded over time. I tried to sand it and recoat myself and didn't work out. Do you have a name or number by any chance?

Unfortunately I'm no longer in the bay area and don't really know of any shops there. I do have a friend with an NSX who had a CF roof refinished at Diamond autobody here in Sacramento and was very happy.
