Unfortunately I don't know a good one offhand. I'd say checking Yelp or Google Reviews would be your best bet. There should be hotels in the Scotts Valley area, or you could probably find one around Campbell/Los Gatos.

So awesome to hear you'll be able to make it from such a long distance though. :)

If you want to stay in Santa Cruz I like the Hotel Paradox, but because of work travel I am a biased Marriott whore. It's not right on Pacific (the main drag) but is an easy walk. It's a longer walk if you want to go to the beach/boardwalk area, but not too bad.

I would definitely stay on the coast side, santa cruz, capitola, aptos. I do not recommend staying in los gatos or san jose. Too far with the traffic. Probably some good airbnb stuff if you are into that.

@spike021 are we open to invite others? I was talking about it to a couple of coworkers (triumph TR4 and Factory Five Cobra) and they we very interested in joining.

I think that should be okay since we didn't give a specific number, just a range of how many might come for the tour. It is mostly supposed to be norcal86 though since that's what I told them it was for :).

We’re thinking of doing a caravan from SJ but just need to nail down the details for meetup point and time.
