Engine Bay Dimentions

Hello. Does anyone know the engine bay dimentions of the FRS/GT86/BRZ?
Thanks

I have no idea but from what I hear the new Helephant Hemi crate motor won't fit ;)

Which dimensions are you looking for? (from what to what)

What are you thinking about putting there?

If it's another engine, you might check (search) this forum, maybe someone else has done (or tried) it.

If it's to see how many cats can fit in there, I'd say maybe 25-30 if they are packed right. If you are going to drive with them like that though,
I'd do no more than like 8-10 though to keep them safe from the heat if it's a short trip. Maybe only 4-5 for a long trip because you'll need to get
some decent protection in there like maybe using a fire blanket or heatshield and possibly get some venting in there like what is used when doing
brake cooling ducts. And what kind of weirdo wants to put cats in the engine bay any way? Why not just use the trunk?

Ok I just confirmed the FA20 fits perfectly without any modifications!

I had a cat crawl up into the engine bay on my old 4Runner one cold night. I went out to start it in the morning and it struggled to turn for a few seconds then I heard the most horrible scream, absolutely bloodcurdling. I left it running and popped the hood... It was a horrifying scene :( The cat got caught in the belts and got shredded :confused0068::eyebulge: Boy did that shit stink as the engine heated up. It took almost 30 minutes with the high pressure sprayer at a DIY car wash to get it cleaned out.
