Ecutek problem

I’m not sure what’s going on but I’m installing my flex fuel kit and I’m trying to upload the tune for it but the ecutek software is unable to read. I checked the cord and the light is green and my laptop reads the cord so I don't believe the cord is damaged. Dongle works and my ignition is on but in the software the CAN indicator is still red and detect vehicle is unselectable. FWIW car was previously tuned with OFT but I definitely unmarried it because stock tune is in and OFT is wiped clean which I wouldn’t be able to do if still married. Also the the car is able to read OFT and other OBD devices so I don't believe the OBD connection in my vehicle is damaged either. I would like to know what other issues could be the problem if the cord and OBD is not damaged?

if it s red there are not other reasons other than Windows doesnt recognize the cable
driver problems, or defective cable
try Help, Ecutek update, update drivers and see wht happens

I had this problem, when i tried connecting directly to the OBD. It worked fine when i used an OBD extension cable and hooked dongle into that. Sometimes the connections and pins can be a bit finicky for whatever reason.

That issue is not a car ,ecu or obd port problem.

Its a problem with you compiter the software or drivers or ecutek cable.

All indicators should turn green even without ecutek cavle plugged into car.

Try different usb port, reload ecutek software , update drivers as tom brz suggested.

Try on anoyher computer

But you ecutek cavle may be faulty

the red things on proecu have NOTHING to do with obd connection. It must goes green as soon as you plug usb cable into laptop, even if you keep obd side unplugged

Edit: yup, sorry for the "overlap" post steve:)
