Rattling noise coming from car?
 

Just changed out entire exhaust system yesterday (Header, Overpipe, Frontpipe, Muffler) and there is some sort of rattling? noise coming from the front of the car whenever I am around 2.3 - 3k RPM. No lights are on, no funny smells, or exhaust leaks after I went back under the car today, even took off the pans and retightened every screw that I tampered with, anyone have any idea what is going on? or do I just desperately need a tune?

The header will make the engine sound noisier, and these motors tend to clatter a bit around 3k. If it's actually rattling it's most likely where the overpipe gets close to the subframe, I'd check there first.

Yep. I'd also guess some piece of your exhaust system is hitting something else. I'd suggest that you figure which way the engine twists (torques) over under acceleration and see which exhaust piece is coming close to something else.

Bubba says, once you find the piece, just pry it over with a crowbar and use baling wire to wire it away from that piece.

Mine has an awesome heat shield rattle right at 4k, not 3850 and not 4200. My solution has been to accelerate past that point as quickly as possible so it doesn't bother me for more than a second at a time.

I had that as well but just hit and pried on random shields until it stopped.

Check the clearance on the Over Pipe.

Yup mine has a complete HKS header, pipe and exhaust and has a rattle at idle through about 2500 RPMs. the car is so low to the ground with the splitter and wide body kit I cannot see under it. cannot wait till my 4 post lift gets installed next week.
