Which autocross class?

Current mods:
Berk track pipe
Air intake tube
Drop in filter
Eibach pro lowering springs
Kosei k1-ts 17x7
Cipher harnesses and bar
Stoptech brake lines
TRD brake pads

Now I'm pretty sure I'll end up in street class except for maybe the confusion around the air intake tube. It technically is within the street class rules but it's mostly up to interpretation. Would this still kick me up to STX? Where is the frs most competitive? Thinking maybe going SSC since technically that's where it's most competitive. I'm not sure where I want to go with this car.

The lowering springs put you in STX.

I must have missed that in the rules. Well haha guess I'll shoot for a STX build than because I'm not going to buy stock springs to undo it. The car is used and alot of this was already done. Thanks.

Also the intake tube and stainless steel brake lines.

Intake tube also puts you in STX. There is no allowance for any changes other than filter in Street.

Assume tires are 200TW+.

Silicone replacement hoses are allowed even with the intake as long as it doesn't alter the path and it's not a different size. At least that's what I read from the rules but it does seem to be a divided issue.

You are correct, but even things like the Perrin Intake tube the radius is changed as well as overall internal Dia (even though exterior appears to be the same).

SSC Utilized Eibach Lowering Springs, however you must conform to all rules/allowed modifications to run within SSC

See Here:

Currently as is, you would be STX

@cdj is correct, actually.

13.10 ENGINE AND DRIVETRAIN
A. The engine air filter element may be removed or replaced provided the air flow path
remains as originally designed (i.e., no additional openings). No other components
of the air induction system may be removed, replaced, or modified.

Now, if you're at a local event, you could probably get away with it without anyone getting too upset.

The springs do move you to STX.

13.8 SUSPENSION
A. Standard, as defined herein, suspension springs must be used. They
may not be cut, shortened, or collapsed. Spring perches may not vary
from the OE shape within the working part of the perch.

However, if you make the argument that the eibach pro kit springs are the same as TRD springs (I think they might be). You could try to fit into C street, where the TRD packaged cars go.

You could try to argue both modifications to fit in C street.. or just run STX, have a blast, and not bend the rules.

Does "Berk track pipe" mean you have no cat?

I thought STX required a cat.

I think its just the single exit muffler delete, but if both cats are indeed removed, I believe that's grounds to move to Prepared.

Yeah. What is marketed as a "Berk track pipe" is the same as Nameless muffler deletes.

I think you misundertood me. I'm not trying to bend the rules, I read them and I thought that's what they meant. I have no problem just going to whatever class I'm actually in, that's why I asked. I'm just wanting to get back into autocross because I miss it and just want to have some fun. Thank you
