Asking repair shop to order 2017+ brz lights to replace damaged 2015

Hey guys, just got into an accident that wasnt my fault and there was damage to the headlights. Has anyone asked the repair shop to order and install 2017+ headlights on a 2013-2016 brz?

All it takes is more money.

Or just buy Vlands for less $ than the 13-15 OEM.

What kiske said, plus convincing the person who caused the accident (or their insurance) to pay for the 2017 headlights vs 2013-2016 gen:

Also clearly they have to be good with any electrical re-pinning and charging the insurance or person for that extra labor

The insurance will pay for the original style. You will need to pay for the extra cost of labor and parts.
